Privacy and Cookie Notice
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Tokyo Devices, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") provides TokyoDevices.com. This notice explains how the English website uses personal information, cookies, and external services.
1. Information we process
Depending on how you use the website, we may process:
- account and contact details, including your name, company, email address, telephone number, and address;
- order, payment status, billing, shipping, return, and support information;
- information you submit through registration, contact, survey, and other forms; and
- technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device, referring page, pages viewed, searches, cart actions, and purchases.
We use this information to provide accounts, shopping, payment, delivery, support, and security; to prevent fraud and abuse; to comply with legal obligations; and, where allowed, to understand website use and measure advertising.
2. Essential storage
Essential cookies support the session, cart, currency selection, login, and security protections such as CSRF prevention. They are required for the store to work and are not controlled by the optional privacy settings. Refusing optional categories does not prevent browsing or purchasing.
3. Regional privacy choices
Visitors accessing the English website from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland see the privacy choices on their first HTML page. We apply the same protective behavior when we cannot reliably determine the visitor's region. Analytics, advertising measurement, and external content remain off unless the visitor allows them.
If a visitor continues to another page without choosing, we record only that the first notice was displayed and keep all optional categories off. Continuing without choosing is not treated as consent. The notice is not displayed automatically again while that record remains valid, but choices can be made or changed at any time using Privacy settings in the footer.
In other regions, the choices are not displayed automatically and optional measurement services may load under the website's current defaults. Visitors can use Privacy settings to turn optional categories off.
4. Optional categories
- Analytics
- Helps us understand searches, product views, cart use, and purchases so we can improve the website.
- Advertising measurement
- Measures results from Google and Microsoft advertising. Advertising storage and related signals are enabled only for this category.
- External content
- Allows a page to load embedded content from an external provider, such as X, when that content is present.
Before these categories are allowed, their tags are not loaded and no consent-status or cookieless measurement ping is sent to those providers. With Analytics only, Google Analytics may load but Google Ads and Microsoft UET remain off.
5. External providers and when they are used
- Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google LLC): website analytics and advertising measurement after the corresponding choice is allowed. See Google's Privacy Policy and cookie information.
- Microsoft Advertising UET (Microsoft Corporation): advertising measurement after Advertising measurement is allowed. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- X (X Corp.): embedded X content is loaded only after External content is allowed. See the X Privacy Policy.
- Meta: product pages may provide a normal link for sharing on Facebook. We do not load the Facebook SDK on every page. Following a share link takes you to Meta's service, which is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.
- Stripe: Stripe.js is loaded only on a payment page when needed to provide card and wallet payment, fraud prevention, refunds, and related services. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Google reCAPTCHA: reCAPTCHA is loaded when a protected form is prepared for submission to help prevent spam, bots, and fraudulent activity. See Google's Privacy Policy and Terms.
Stripe and reCAPTCHA support payment and security functions and are not enabled by the Analytics or Advertising measurement choices. The English website serves its fonts and icons without loading Google Fonts.
6. Approximate storage periods
- the website session cookie: up to 3 months;
- the privacy choice or first-notice record: up to 6 months;
- analytics identifiers, when allowed: generally up to 2 years; and
- advertising measurement identifiers, when allowed: from the session duration to approximately 13 months.
Actual periods may be shorter because of browser settings, deletion, provider controls, or changes to a provider's service. Transaction and account records are retained for the periods needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the website.
7. International processing
We are located in Japan. External providers may process information in Japan, the United States, and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Data protection rules in those countries may differ from those in your country. We assess and use safeguards required for the relevant processing and provider.
8. Your choices and contact
Use Privacy settings in the footer to allow, refuse, withdraw, or change optional categories. A withdrawal applies to subsequent pages and use. You can also delete cookies in your browser, although deleting essential cookies may sign you out or clear your cart.
For questions about privacy or requests concerning your personal information, please use our contact form.
