IWS600-KY is an infrared motion detector that works as a virtual USB keyboard. Virtual keys are pressed by the movement of a heat source up to approximately 5 meters away.

Features

Equipped with a high-precision infrared sensor module manufactured by Panasonic.
It operates as a virtual keyboard, with the "H" key being pressed when a heat source is detected and the "L" key being pressed when detection is complete.
Simply plug it into a computer's USB port, and it can be used immediately without the need for installing dedicated software. It can be used with any native or web application on operating systems that support the USB HID keyboard standard.
Mass production is available. Orders of 1,000 units or more are possible.

Notes

The IWS600-KY does not input the "H" and "L" keys based on whether a person is present or absent, but rather detects slight movements of people to press the keys. For example, if a person appears and then leaves after 5 seconds, the "H" key may be followed by the "L" key after 5 seconds, or it may respond to slight movements by pressing the keys alternately as H→L→H→L. To determine if a person is present or absent, check whether the "H" or "L" key has been pressed within a certain period of time.
