Additional Requirements
A power supply capable of supplying 12V 1A is required for relay power. You can choose to directly connect the power cable to the terminal block terminals or use an AC adapter. If using an AC adapter, consider the compatible AC adapter (IWAC12-1.0) listed in the related products below.
How to Use
IWT313-USB can be easily controlled using a dedicated command-line program.
Example
% iwt313ctl.exe set ANY 255
This command turns on all relays of the connected IWT313-USB.
The first argument set
is a fixed command string for setting the relay state.
The second argument specifies the serial number of the connected IWT313-USB to the computer. ANY
is an option to specify one of the IWT313-USB recognized by the computer without specifying a serial number. If multiple IWT313-USB units are connected, you need to explicitly specify the serial number.
The third argument 255
is binary 11111111, which means turning on all eight channels. If you specify 128
, it is binary 10000000, so only channel 8 is turned on, and the other channels are turned off.
※If you encounter an error stating that vcruntime140.dll cannot be found at startup, please install the required library first.
Notes
To use the Linux version of the iwt313ctl
command, Linux knowledge is required. To compile, you need to install a set of development commands such as gcc and the libusb-dev package on your distribution. Also, setting permissions for USB devices is necessary. Please note that Tokyo Devices cannot provide technical support for Linux, so please understand.
