IW12051 is an uninterruptible power supply that can provide 24-hour USB power by combining a solar panel and battery. Single board computers such as Raspberry Pi and communication equipment can be operated for long periods of time.
It can power single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi and communication devices for extended periods. During the day, it charges the battery while powering the USB port using solar energy. At night or during poor weather conditions, it supplies power to the USB port from the stored battery energy.
- For those considering integration into devices, please also consider the board module IW12051-BP without a case.
- This product is the successor to the IW3100-CS with an increased current capacity of 2.5A.
- It is a reliable domestically designed product. Customization and long-term supply are available according to your needs.
Feature 1: Compatibility with General-Purpose Solar Panels and Batteries
The module widely supports typical solar panels around 18-20V and is compatible with 12V deep cycle batteries. Depending on the load size, you can freely choose the combination of solar panel and battery. (There is also an uninterruptible power supply kit that includes both a solar panel and a battery; please refer to the related products at the bottom of the page.)
Feature 2: High Output & High Efficiency USB Power Supply
The high-efficiency switching power circuit efficiently utilizes the stored power as a USB source. The maximum output of 2.5A ensures stable operation even under large current loads.
Feature 3: Protection Features
For safety, an overcurrent protection device is installed. It reduces the risk of smoke and fire in case the positive and negative terminals of the lead-acid battery are accidentally reversed. It also includes a temperature sensor that shuts down the operation if the power source's temperature abnormally increases. Additionally, an over-discharge protection feature automatically cuts off USB power supply when the battery falls below a certain voltage, preventing battery degradation from complete discharge.
