Forethumb is a virtual keyboard device that allows you to enter characters into your computer or smartphone using Morse code. The MD model is equipped with a capacitive touch sensor.
This device allows you to input Morse code using an electronic keyer system and have it recognized as keyboard input by a computer or similar device.
It features touch sensors on the top surface, enabling quiet input without any external equipment.
Of course, you can also use a standard paddle via the 3.5mm jack.
Side tone monitoring with earphones is supported.
Morse code transmission speed, side tone volume, and tone frequency can be adjusted by entering specific Morse code sequences as defined in the code chart.
If you already own a paddle, we also recommend checking out the DR Model.
Note
- The device starts at the lowest frequency when powered on, so the code “--....” to lower the frequency will not have any effect.
- Support from the contact listed in the user's guide(Forethumb, LLC) is no longer available. If you require assistance, please contact us directly.
